I know You Are There God
Thou whom
I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant;
I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou
not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold
thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:9-10
KJV
Last night as
I dreamed, I found myself in the middle of the forest alone and yet not afraid. I was looking for something but was
not sure exactly what it was. I just felt the need to seek for the one thing I did not have.
That is the way that God has made us. We have a built in desire to seek Him. When we fill this need in
our life then we no longer wander, we know what we long to find. We suddenly desire to know Him more but we have all
that we ever needed right inside of our heart. If you stumble, He picks you up.
If you doubt, He reminds you of who you are in Christ. If you fail, He is here to help you. There is nothing, no nothing
that is too big or too bad for Him to heal. He loves you with a love that is unconditional and it is never earned.
It is free and it is simple. Do you know Him? He is Jesus.
In Him,

Step Off The Path And You May Meet A Snake!!!He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge,
a serpent shall bite him. Ecc. 10:8 King James Version A few days ago, my children and I met my friend Shelly
from the United Kingdom at the Clemson University Botanical Gardens for a picnic. We went for a walk to see the flowers that are blooming after we ate our lunch. I explained to my kids that,
because it's so warm in the south, they needed to make sure that they stayed on the path. I explained that snakes were
out and the fact that I had rather meet an angry Lion than a snake, any day of the week!
We were only a few minutes into our adventure when my daughter spotted a very large gold fish swimming in the small pond
near our path. She stepped off the path only a foot or so, as her brother stepped just beside her. They were pointing to the
school of large orange fish as my friend, my oldest daughter, and I stood slightly behind them peeking over their shoulders
to see why they were so excited.
It was at that very moment, that my youngest daughter
whispered, "Look mommy, a snake."
As I looked down, slightly in front of
her and my son's shoes, was a snake. It laid waiting to gobble up some fish-peering-spectators. I gasped at the thought
of being bitten or swallowed whole by this slimy serpent.
I quickly grabbed the shirts
of the two gold fish watchers, giving them the mommy lecture of, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET OFF OF THE PATH!"
Isn't it funny how this is such a picture of salvation? God tells us to stay on the path that he has laid
out for us, yet the slightest thing can divert our attention. Then, when we are least expecting it, the snake in the grass
can rip the life right out of its prey.
Sin doesn't always give us warning of
the consequences it will create and the slightest error can prove fatal if the snake chooses to strikes its victim.
The good news is, just like I pulled my children to safety from fangs that would taste them for a delightful
snack, our Father in Heaven waits to rescue us from Satan's traps.
If we stand
still and know He is God, (Psalm 46:10) trusts in Him, He will save, restore and transform us.
If you have stepped off the path and the snake has you in sight, ask the Lord for His help. He will pull you to safety and
set your feet back on solid safe ground. He loves you that much and He is waiting to set you free.
Praying for you,
Anita

Growing PainsWhen we face things in life that make us grow....

...remember, God is always here.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is
a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and
true holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which
are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 KJV
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. John 15:9 KJV
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. John 16:27
KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye
shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 KJV

Empty Room"The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer."
Psalm 6:9

As I was looking through some pictures I had taken over the past few months, I found this one of my old
living room that I took the day we moved all of our furniture out of the house that we just sold. As I looked at this
picture, I found my mind going to the emptiness inside, when I turned my heart away from the Lord. It has not always
felt so empty, but when I walked away from the Lord and His goodness the joy that once existed suddenly felt overwhelmingly
empty and alone.
Psalm 6:4 says, "Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake."
God's fullness that fills all loneliness is just a prayer away. If you feel empty inside and lost all
hope, God is here. He loves you and he wants to hear you call His name. I did and now my empty spot has been filled
once again.
Do not let another minute pass you by. Seek the Lord and His goodness. Invite Him to be
a real part of your life and allow Him to fill you up with a beautiful gift of peace.
Praying for you,
Anita

Who am I Anyway?
The answer can be very simple if you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
I am accepted...
I am secure...
I am significant...
Knowing the difference between
Satan's Lie and God's Truth is vital in knowing and understanding your identity in Christ. Dr. Neil Anderson's
"Freedom in Christ Ministries"website say's it better than any place I have found, using the Word of God to validate each statement. I highly
recommend that you go to Dr. Anderson's site and read God's Truth about who you are.
If you do not
know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you would like for me to introduce you to the way to true freedom, please email
me and let me know. I would love to share with you the simple truth about freedom.
In Him,
Anita
